Welcome to the landing page for my latest and greatest work and content. Seasons of Life

Our Alaska salmon snow sculpture at the Anchorage Fur Rondy competition took 1st Place in its division! This carving is a tribute to the life cycle of this incredible fish.

“Ocean of Intelligence”

Team Alaska pulled off a great snow sculpture at the US National competition in Lake Geneva, WI. This carving was a commentary on the rise of artificial intelligence technologies.

“Solstice Serenade”

My ice sculpture at the Alaska Botanical Gardens took 1st place at this year’s competition event. I’m very happy with how this one turned out!

“Strength in Our Light”

A very special snow sculpture carved in Utqiagvik, Alaska for the Blue Christmas event on the winter solstice 2023.

“Balance”

This commission was a particularly special project. I was approached about this sculpture back in April. The symbolism pertains to the career of a public official in my local community. Go to my Blog for the full artist statement here.

Salmon and Bear restaurant, McCarthy, AK

This wood carving of an Alaskan bear reaching for a salmon is ready for hibernation in downtown McCarthy, Alaska. Sculpting this giant cedar log was a highlight of my wood carving career for sure!

Jack, A fine ole dawg

This pet portrait wood carving was made for a local friend in McCarthy, Alaska. Jack will keep watch over this deck for many more years to come!

“Alaska Fireweed” - This metal sculpture got a few additional elements this spring, another flower added to the stalk and a small sprout growing from the junk base. I was really glad to be set up to get some footage of this upgrade. This video reel was shot and edited in vertical format for social media viewing primarily so apologies to my desktop viewers!
